A little surprised to see the several latin players the A’s signed a few years ago not on this list (Bell jr, Vargas, Brito, Richards). These 4 signed the same time as Lazarito. Also absent is the prospect they got from Seattle in the Healy trade, Alexander Campos.

We don’t rank players in the list until they have played in the US for the regular season, which is why Campos wasn’t on there yet. I expect him to be there next year. Bell and Richards haven’t made it over yet either. Vargas and Brito, in particular, were very close. Their absence is a reflection of the depth of the system. Next week, we’ll have some info on the guys who just missed the list.
