Oakland A’s minor league camp doesn’t officially open until March 3, but there are several minor leaguers already in Mesa working out at the A’s minor league complex. Some are there on their own or are rehabbing, but a group of 31 will be in camp early as part of the A’s minor league spring mini-camp.

The mini-camp includes a mix of younger prospects, such as 2017 third-round pick Nick Allen, and more experienced prospects, such as outfielder B.J. Boyd. The younger prospects are in mini-camp to get additional time with the A’s minor league coaching staff before the regular spring camp opens, while the more experienced prospects are in the mini-camp to get in game shape early enough to be borrowed by the big league squad for major league spring training games early in camp.

The mini-camp takes place at the A’s minor league complex. Below is the list of players invited to the spring camp.
