Oakland Athletics pitcher Jharel Cotton is raising money to aid those from his home of St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands who lost their homes during Hurricane Irma.
The A’s rookie pitcher already donated $5,000 to relief efforts and he has set-up a GoFundMe to raise additional funds. He also plans to return home after the season is over to help rebuild his community.
